NBU issues a commemorative coin with a ₴10 face value

The National Bank of Ukraine has issued a commemorative coin dedicated to a legendary song. According to УНІАН, the coin has a face value of 10 hryvnias. This is a numismatic release by the central bank, rather than a change in the value of Ukraine’s currency.

Context

The key financial distinction is between a coin’s face value and its purchase price. The inscription of 10 hryvnias establishes its denomination, but does not mean a buyer will necessarily pay that amount.
