Official dollar rate rose over October 19–23
After falling to UAH 44.8625 per dollar on October 19, the official rate reached UAH 45.0791 on October 21. It then dipped slightly before rising again. Overall, the rate rose gradually over October 19–23, with small fluctuations toward the end of the week.
NBU cut interventions to $1,193.1 million
According to statistics on the NBU website, the central bank reduced its interbank market interventions by $56.8 million last week. Interventions totaled $1,193.1 million.
